Elseweb, Colleen Harris mused that she should probably not rely on her time spent tanking in World of Warcraft as a management tool. I disagreed. See, I think that it’s fair to say that on some days, my job as Director is all about charging in first, planting my feet, drawing the aggro, and standing there, holding its attention, until my companions can kill it. And sometimes I have to kill it myself, no matter how battered I get, because all my companions are lying on the ground, having failed in their role, either by coming in unprepared or by drawing the aggro that was supposed to come to me, which I’m specced to handle, and they’re not.
But then, under the suit jackets and classy heels, I’m a big damn geek.
